I think its wrong to inflate rape statistics in order to make a movement valid while ignoring the fact that men are raped more than women. Considering that sexual assault has decreased an incredible 60% since 1993 I find it very difficult to believe the rape hysteria that feminists perpetuate while at the same time they denounce the so-called rape culture that is only there because they fear monger women into believing that rape is rampant in this country when that is simply not the truth.
Now you can source any kind of rape stats you want that show rape is an epidemic but those statistics will always be inaccurate because they also factor in unreported rapes which are only estimates or guesswork based on ones own opinions, biases and impressions, not data. If you take away the guesswork of unreported rape then you get a very different figure and that’s just not acceptable to the feminist narrative of women being victims.
While rape is of course a heinous crime it is also one that has the least reliable statistics by those who should have the most reliable statistics. I keep hearing the quote that 97% of rapists never spend a day in prison and that is not the truth. In fact, according to An Analysis of Data on Rape and Sexual Assault by the Bureau of Justice Statistics in 1997 felony convictions are sought for 80% of accused rapists, 48% were convicted, 32% were dismissed or acquitted due to lack of evidence and the remaining 20% were either false accusations or the accuser dropped the charges. The average sentence of a rapist is 14 years, 2% are given life sentences and 8 out of 10 accused plead guilty. This of course does not fit into the feminist narrative that implies that our courts have no interest in punishing rapists. That’s just ridiculous, misleading and highly immoral.
You must also consider the 747,408 registered sex offenders in the United States today. Because they are known in their communities it reduces their chances of sexually assaulting again. The high number also indicates that the court system does work and the 97% statistic is complete bullshit.
What’s most disturbing to me is the fact that feminists make it their duty to silence statistics of false rape accusations. Another statistic I keep hearing is that less than 2% of rape accusations are false. This is also no true. According to The Forensic Examiner that did an analysis of over a dozen FBI reports and studies about half of rape accusations are false. RADAR (Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Abuse Reporting) has found this research to be credible. Though only 556 cases were studied, 60% were found to be false. That’s about 333 men falsely accused of rape. The reason we have to rely on this research is because when a woman falsely accuses a man of rape the case is dismissed, she is rarely ever punished by the law and therefore it is never documented as a crime to be included in statistics and data for analysis. When I was falsely accused it wasn’t documented and many false accusations are made simply to defame someone, blackmail them or cause them great bodily harm rather than have them arrested and charged with a crime. It is purely malicious intent when false accusations are made against men which men do not even have to ability to reverse on women. So its a very useful tool for women to use for various reasons like not getting what they want, not being interested in their partners anymore, not being remembered, wanting a day off from work, suing for money and racism.
According to the Innocence Project 57% of prisoners exonerated by DNA evidence were incarcerated for rape. That’s 153 out of the total 268 exonerated of crimes they didn’t even commit. Just think about that for a minute. That means that men who have served upwards of 30 years behind bars, probably being raped by other inmates, were falsely accused and their lives and reputations have been destroyed. Whether rare or not, that is not acceptable just as rape is not acceptable and both victims of these crimes have to deal with mental scars and trauma and while you might think I’m undermining rape victims what I’m actually doing is exposing the truth and being a voice for the falsely accused. Whether you agree or not you have not provided, and no feminists I’ve ever spoken to provide, statistics that back their claims that do not come from a heavily biased source that thinks statistical analysis should include guesstimates of unreported claims to come to a conclusion. Its like these fucking people never paid attention in science class.
Now you can find my blog to be insulting all you want as that is your right but I also have a right to be insulted by the incredibly misleading and deceptive statistics of sexual assault and false rape accusations. To me, distorting facts in order to fit an agenda is neither ethical nor is it admirable. Its fucking disgusting.
If I’m wrong, prove it.
